Understanding Donor-Assisted Care
When ovarian reserve is severely depleted, or in cases of non-obstructive azoospermia or significant genetic conditions, donor-assisted reproduction offers a compassionate, scientifically sound pathway to parenthood. At Mysuru Fertility Centre, all donor programmes strictly comply with the National ART Act 2021, using registered, screened government ART banks.

What actually happens, stage by stage

Matching characteristics such as height, blood group and skin tone through licensed ART banks.

Donor oocytes are fertilised with partner sperm via ICSI and cultured to the blastocyst stage.

The selected blastocyst is transferred into the primed maternal uterus.

Under the ART Act 2021, the intended parents are the sole legal parents of any child born from donor assistance. The donor has no legal rights or parental obligations, and anonymity is protected by law.
