You are not alone in this

Support for the part nobody prepares you for

Fertility treatment is demanding emotionally as well as physically, and that side of it is too often left unaddressed. Talking to someone is a normal part of treatment here, not an admission that something is wrong.

Couples and partner counselling

Treatment puts strain on a relationship in ways that are hard to anticipate. Sessions are available for both partners together, or separately if that is easier.

Coping after an unsuccessful cycle

A negative result is a grief, and it deserves to be treated as one. Support is available before you make any decision about what to do next.

Male-factor mental health

Men are rarely offered support in fertility care, and often feel they are not entitled to it. A diagnosis affecting you is worth talking through, privately and without judgement.

If today is hard

Would it help to talk to someone now?

You do not need to be a patient here, and you do not need to have decided anything. If you would rather just ask a question confidentially, that is a perfectly good reason to get in touch.

In an emergency: This service is not a crisis line and is not monitored around the clock. If you are in immediate distress or thinking of harming yourself, please contact emergency services on 112, or the Tele-MANAS national mental health helpline on 14416, which operates 24 hours a day.

Next step

Support is part of the treatment, not an extra

Ask about counselling at any point — before starting, mid-cycle, or after a result. It does not need to be arranged through your doctor.
